This January, we are proud to recognize Raul Zamudio as Western Dairy Transport's Employee of the Month! Raul has been a dedicated member of the WDT family since February 22, 2021, serving as a Haul-Off Driver at our Hyrum, Utah facility. His dedication to safety, hard work, and the WDT community makes him a key part of our team.

A Standout Moment

When reflecting on his career, Raul recalls navigating a severe winter storm as one of his most memorable experiences. With icy roads and almost no visibility, he leaned on his training and experience to stay calm and safe. Despite the challenging conditions, Raul successfully delivered the load on time, demonstrating the resilience and responsibility that define WDT's drivers. "It was a tough situation," Raul said, "but it reminded me how unpredictable and rewarding this job can be."

Raul encourages his fellow drivers to embrace every mile as a chance to grow and learn. His advice? "Always prioritize safety by ensuring your truck is in top condition and staying alert on the road. Build strong relationships with other drivers—sharing experiences and advice can be invaluable."
