Breast cancer is one of the most common cancer in women and can be successfully treated, especially when detected and treated in its early stages. During October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, pink ribbons are worn to help raise awareness about the importance of early detection.
The Rust family has been greatly affected by breast cancer and have chosen to share their very real, at times heartbreaking, stories in order to spread awareness and encourage you to stay diligent in your screenings. Today is National Mammography Day, and the perfect time to be reminded to schedule your appointments for the upcoming year.
Thank you Kylee, Tina, & Kent for caring enough about us all to encourage us with your journey, your strength, your passion for awareness, and your fight from the other side of breast cancer.
