A Veterans Day Message from David Shelton, CEO

Dearest WDT Colleagues,

Today, our Nation honors the protectorates of our very freedoms celebrating Veterans Day. Western Dairy Transport also humbly honors all that have served as well as their families. Among our WDT colleagues are nearly one hundred that have answered the call to protect our freedoms that we eternally salute.

Again this year, in fact just last week, WDT was honored to haul The Wall that Heals from Arizona to the Texas Dairy Community of Sulphur Springs. This is the second such move of the replica Vietnam War Memorial Wall our company has made, having hauled it in 2019. It is a great honor and privilege to give back to our community of Veterans and especially those that gave the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War.

In honor of this effort, alongside the men and women who have answered the call to protect our freedoms, we minted our own challenge coin commemorating this very special event for all of the Veterans at WDT. These are available for you to pick up at your dispatch locations.

And finally, as an additional honor to our Veterans, Western Dairy Transport is pledging a $1,000 donation to the Michael E. Thornton Foundation. Lieutenant Michael E. Thornton (USN Ret.) is a Medal of Honor recipient, our Nation’s highest honor. His Foundation’s mission “provides immediate financial assistance for both active and non-active duty military and families in need”.

On behalf of myself and the Board of Directors of Western Dairy Transport, please join me today in honoring and celebrating our Company and Nation’s men and women, along with their families, who have answered the call to protect our freedoms.

In God We Trust,

David S. Shelton

Chief Executive Officer
